The striking Renaissance-style Zemono Manor House is the temple of local cuisine. Today, the manor houses the restaurant “Gostilna pri Lojzetu” ran by renowned chef Tomaž Kavčič. Every spring the venue hosts the culinary festival Okusi Vipavske (Flavours of the Vipava Valley) and in between a host of other cultural events. Exquisite dishes are also available in the near-by restaurant Majerija, and the restaurants Pikol and Dam, which are both located in Nova Gorica.
