Your adventure begins at the green Lijak Visitor Center, where your guide introduces the route and provides sustainable tips. Then, by bike (your own or an e-bike rented at the center), you set off to explore five villages: Šmihel, Ozeljan, Šempas, Vitovlje, and Osek. In each village, a new story awaits you. At the winery, you will discover 5 different wines and selected local specialties, tasted in the authentic setting of a wine cellar. Through stories, the guide will bring to life the customs of the past, from village games such as šacanje pršuta and škuljanje to old traditions like corn husking
and raising the maypole. For those seeking even more adventure, you can also try a virtual flight over the Vipava Valley back at the center.
