A Bubbly Pre-Christmas Gathering

Vipavski Križ is fast becoming the go-to location for a range of exceptional events, including wine tastings aimed at putting the region’s wines on the map.

At the Sparkling Wine Festival, dozens of local winemakers showcase their curated selection to visitors. Crafted from selected grape varieties such as Zelen, Pinela, and Malvasia, these wines boast a unique character and a perfect balance of aromas. Guests can indulge in a delightful selection of effervescent sparkling wines, from classic to innovative sparkling wine blends, enjoy classy cocktails as well as gourmet dishes that capture the exquisite flavors of Vipava Valley.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of a 500-year-old castle cellar, in December, the festival exudes a special Yuletide charm when it also displays nativity scenes made by local artists.
