Vacations are especially fun when spiced up with adrenaline experiences. For the young and young at heart, there's lots of daring activities to be found in the Vipava Valley and Goriška, making for some great photography, too.

In Solkan by the River Soča there's an adrenaline park, the biggest selection of daredevil challenges in one place. The Soča Fun Park on the banks of the emerald river offers as many as five adventure tracks and a unique 300-metre zipline 40 metres above the River Soča. At the Kayak Centre you can also try your hand at kayaking and rafting, whereas the Solkan Bridge offers bungee jumping over the Soča rapids, the only one of its kind in Slovenia.

Would you like to fly a paraglider? No problem! The Vipava Valley is famous for its free-flying vibes. With an experienced pilot you can opt for a tandem flight from the takeoff points at Kovk or Lijak, witnessing unforgettable views over the Vipava Valley, the Adriatic, Kras, and Julian Alps.

Solid ground offers a variety of challenges as well. Skaters will love the modern ramps of the GOskatepark in Nova Gorica and the Skate Park Pale in Ajdovščina. Right by, the Pale Sports Park also features the famous Bike Park Frutabela popular with mountain biking enthusiasts far and wide. Racing fans will find their jolt at the Karting Centre in Vrtojba, which also rents out go-karts.
