Zoria

The Zoria Estate resides in the upper Vipava Valley, in the village of Podraga. The farm, whose roots trace back 200 years, keeps vineyards and livestock. It is run by the Furlan family, specifically the father Klavdij who is slowly handing over the reins to son Gašper, with a view to continuing the long-standing family tradition. Their vineyards lie on the slopes of the Vipava Low Hills, where the extreme sites, the Bora wind and great effort give them a special distinction. In the vineyard and the cellar, they respect the knowledge of their ancestors, built upon with the modern. By understanding the characteristics of the sites, soils and microclimate, they adapt the varieties and ways of cultivation. This ensures that they get the most out of each variety and site. Wine tastings are available for up to 6 persons.
