Zaloščan vina de Adami
The winegrowing tradition of the Slejko family goes back even before 1926 when grandfather Venceslav first launched his wine trade. Ever since, generations of Slejko’s have been tending to their grapes with great love and affection, making sure to preserve the authentic local heritage of winegrowing and winemaking. The Slejko’s market their wines under the De Adami brand. The name goes back to an honourable gentleman who worked in Zalošče around 1621, and about whom there are many fascinating tales in local lore even today.
The farm comprises 8 hectares of vineyards cultivated according to old methods without the use of herbicides. Grapes are picked by hand. The farm is committed to quality and can show a host of high marks from various wine ratings.
