Vinarstvo Koglot
For four generations the Koglot family has been diligently maintaining their centennial homestead and their vineyards around Vrtojba and across the Vipava Valley with deep-rooted appreciation for its time-honoured tradition. Modern technology and knowledge meet traditional cultivation methods and ancient wisdom. Their wines are harmonious and full-bodied, with a stand-out Malvasia that is made into both fresh and macerated wines. The sparkling wine is a blend of Malvasia and Pinot Noir grapes, produced according to the traditional Champagne method. The cellar is stocked with other varieties, for instance, rosé from Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc, and Marselan. The Koglot wine cellar is the westernmost wine cellar in the Vipava Valley, also offering spirits such as brandy, gin, barrique grape brandy and more, made according to traditional recipes and procedures.
