Vina Zgonik
The Zgonik farm has been growing fruit and grapes for over hundred years. In the late 1980s, the family shifted its focus solely on winemaking and viticulture. Grapes are grown on more than five hectares of land on roughly 30,000 vines, and implementing sustainable methods.
The family grows both red and white varieties. Whites comprise Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Yellow Muscat, Ribolla and Zelen, and reds comprise Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The winery produces varietal wines and cuvees, which are highly appreciated as premium quality wines with character. This is attested by numerous awards from domestic and international wine ratings. The farm organizes wine tastings including suitable snacks for private parties of up to 20 people.
