Vina Krapež

Krapež wines are made in harmony with nature, based on the experience of their forbearers, but with their unique mark grown from their first-hand knowledge as reflected in the pronounced structure and minerality of the wines.

The winery’s signature wines are structured macerated whites and reds, aged in oak barrels. The motto of the Krapež wine estate is that fine wine is the product of wood and time. In 2002, the estate was awarded Decanter’s platinum medal for its macerated Malvasia.

• for visitors who’ve booked in advance, availability of a cellar tour and a wine tasting for up to 20 people in Slovene and English, and an optional vineyard tour
• the farm is involved in the Association of Slovenian Family Winegrowers, and the Zelen Consortium
• vicinity of the Church of St. Primus and Felician with 180 m2 of mosaics
• the village also features the Theodosius Forest Village and the Campsite Vrhpolje
