Vina Kodre

This small-scale family wine estate only works two hectares of vineyards. It produces white varieties with an emphasis on Malvasia, Rebula and the indigenous Zelen. Their red flagship and the chief component of their rosé, the Cabernet Sauvignon takes centre stage among the estate’s red grapes. All the family’s vineyards are located in the immediate vicinity of the village of Goče. There, on the high and steep loamy terraces of the Vipava Valley, they soak up the scorching sun rays and withstand the ruthless Vipava burja wind.

Snuggled in between two valleys, the Vipava Valley and the Branica Valley, and surrounded by vineyards and unspoilt nature, Goče, with its authentic vibe and rich cultural, architectural and viticultural heritage, surely makes for one of the most recognisable and iconic villages in the Vipava Valley.

The vision of the wine estate is to continue the story of their ancestors and to create authentic wines that encapsulate the unique terroir and draw on the rich viticultural and winemaking tradition of the picture-book village of Goče.
