SANTEI natural wines

This small family-run wine farm is the dream come true of a bonafide foodie couple and was established in 2008 by Sandra and Matej. She’s a biologist and he’s a mathematician, and together they are Santei. Their vision is to bring out the best from the local terroir and combine this with their respect for nature to present wine connoisseurs with a fresh, organic, and memorable wine experience.

Most of the vineyard chores including the harvest are done manually. All Santei wines are made from the farm’s own grapes, naturally fermented and processed organically, i.e. without additives, save for the tiniest amount of sulfur. Santei wines boast an organic certification since 2018 and the Demeter biodynamic certification since 2021. The farm also makes great spirits.
