Since 1980, the Čehovin family has been cultivating grapes and producing premium wines; later, they also ventured into fruit production. There are 8 pairs of hardworking hands on the farm: the mother and father Dagmar and Aleš, their five daughters and one son, all of whom get down to business when it’s time for the grape harvest or it’s fruit-picking season.
Their vineyards are located on the western hills of the Vipava Valley and offer rural views of the Vipava Valley, Karst, Mt Nanos and the Trnovo Forest Plateau.
The wine assortment consists of Malvasia, Ribolla, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Blanc, Pinela and Yellow Muscat. The Ana Bella brand features Ribolla, Malvasia, Pinot Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The hosts are happy to receive wine fans, nature lovers and people who appreciate the serenity of the countryside.
Not to be missed:
- wine, cherries and persimmons
- tastings can host up to 15 people
- the 16th century St Martin’s Church overlooking Brje is within walking distance
