Hiša vin Rondič
You'll find the Rondič House of Wine in the clustered village Slap, in the upper part of the Vipava Valley. In the characteristic old local house, counting 250 years of age, was found the oldest preserved copy of the book Winemaking by teacher and winemaking authority Matija Vertovec dated 1844. Aptly, winegrowing and winemaking have been thriving here for four generations already.
Today the family Rondič applies new concepts to the pursuit of their forefathers' knowledge. Their modern cellar offers diverse white wines, Pinela, Ribolla, Malvasia, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Yellow Muscat, while red varieties of choice are Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
