Authentic and Wholesome
The fields in the Vipava Valley have always been good for growing grains and corn to make bread and polenta. In recent years, the fields have seen the return of ancient grains, especially spelt, which have become the cornerstone of a wholesome and balanced diet. The farms that are focused on the production of these grains now offer freshly milled whole flour, some even making daily fresh bread from home-grown grain.
Recently, the Vipava Valley has been witnessing the trend of industrial hemp cultivation. Oil, flour, seeds and various hemp products are increasingly popular elements in our modern diet that promotes wellbeing and health.
