Olivno olje Pilat

Set in the middle of a Natura 2000 site, the Petrič family is passionate about their two-hectare olive grove. The grove, exceptionally located in the foothills of Mt Nanos, features around 700 olive trees, ranging in age from 2 to 13 years. In late autumn, when the olives bear fruit, they get harvested by hand. The cold-pressed oil is being regularly checked by the Institute of Ecology, Olive Oil and Control. The farm boasts unfiltered olive oil, stored in refrigerated stainless steel containers at a constant temperature of between 14 and 16 °C.

The Petrič family is very proud of the olive oil it makes, and is happy to show guests to their olive bar, for sampling their various olive oils.
