Starting at the bus stop in Zalošče, the trail is easy enough to be manageable by any age group with the proper footwear. It offers amazing views of the surrounding villages and the carefully maintained groves and vineyards growing on the hills. Created by the Vipava River, the pond of Zaloški Bajer is home to many species of flora and fauna. The local farms are very well worth a stop for a delicious local meal, wine or other local culinary highlight.
